Landscape images are taken on 4x5 transparency film using an Arca-Swiss F-Line Compact camera with Nikon, Rodenstock and Schneider lenses. The only filters I use are A2 color correction filters, polarizing filters and center filters to balance wide angle lens light loss. I use Fuji Velvia and Provia film.  We now develop all of our film in our efforts to control the entire process from exposure to printing and framing.

Film images are converted to digital files by a high resolution process called drum scanning. The files are made print-ready using Adobe Photoshop software to dodge and burn images where needed and tweek colors so they print accurately relative to the original transparency. Prints are made on an Epson 9600 large format inkjet printer using Epson Ultrasmooth Fine Art Matte paper and Ultrachrome inks. This process provides archival prints which have been found to last over 80 years behind glass and are remarkable in the colors and details that are able to be reproduced yielding stunning images that can only be produced using the techniques I employ.

I personally do every step involved, from taking the picture to printing, mounting and framing the image.
